Kimberly Jones is your favorite impresario. A Bronx native with roots in New York’s cultural institutions, her work blends community building, the arts, and public programming.

Kimberly’s background spans arts administration, program design, and cultural organizing, with experience developing partnerships and events that amplify Black and brown voices in creative spaces. From 2022 to 2025, she served as the Founder and Special Programs Director of the New York Chapter of Black Girls In Art Spaces (BGIAS), where she spearheaded community-driven programming across the city. In this role, she cultivated partnerships with cultural institutions, organized interactive events, and created opportunities for high school and college students to connect with arts professionals. Her work reflects her commitment to making the arts accessible and inspiring for the local community.

Kimberly is passionate about building environments where people feel seen, inspired, and connected, whether through intimate workshops or large-scale public programs. Through the 1 or the 9, her creative wellness project, she creates phone-free events that reconnect people to creativity, community, and culture.
